Tyson joined the Trees Lexington Board in 2023 and brings a wealth of horticulture expertise and enthusiasm. With a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture Sciences from the University of Kentucky and over a decade of experience in the green industry, he possesses extensive knowledge of urban forestry and a passion for cultivating a greener Lexington. Beyond his professional role as Horticulture Agent at the Woodford County Cooperative Extension Service,Tyson is deeply committed to environmental stewardship and nurturing a love for nature within the community. Whether he's hiking Kentucky’s natural areas, planting trees, or collecting seeds for propagation,Tyson's love for plants is infectious.
