
Drew Speer
Board Member
Drew is originally from Arkansas but moved to Kentucky in 2015. He is an active community volunteer with a passion for maintaining functional recreational spaces in communities, environmental sustainability and addressing food insecurity across Kentucky. Outside of volunteering, he enjoys exploring national parks, hiking, kayaking, scuba diving, fishing, and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats. He is often accompanied on his outdoor adventures by his Blue Heeler, Sirius Blue.
Drew holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) and serves as Director of Research for the University of Kentucky College of Public Health, where he leads strategic research initiatives, promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, oversees fiscal operations and supports research that advances public health outcomes. His work is guided by a commitment to evidence-based decision-making, collaboration, and community impact.
