About the event
Join the Trees Lexington team and other tree loving volunteers to learn about simple but essential tree care! Tree maintenance is critical to the survival and long term health of our urban tree canopy. This event will provide hands on learning from arborists and other tree experts. It will be hot, but we promise it will be FUN! We will focus on mulching and watering trees, two vital pieces of tree maintenance, especially in the summer. When we finish working, we'll celebrate with cold drinks and a light lunch. Wear closed toe shoes and bring your water bottle! Gloves, tools, and training are all provided. Please RSVP for this event! If you have not signed a waiver in 2024, please watch for that in your inbox. Plan to arrive a little before 10 a.m. to get signed in. We will be set up on the Sixth Street side of the school.
