Help us plant 45 TREES where they're needed most!
African Cemetery No. 2 at 419 E. 7th Street is located in the 1st Council District of Lexington, which has 19% tree canopy cover, 11 points shy of the citywide goal of 30%. Join us as we hold our final tree planting event at this location, celebrating the cemetery's recent accreditation as a Level I Arboretum.
Please register for this meaningful event where we will plant 45 TREES. After planting is complete, we'll celebrate the hard work of our dedicated volunteers, and the significance of African Cemetery No. 2 as an arboretum, with refreshments.
