Get out to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather of late winter in Kentucky and join Trees Lexington Board Member, Tyson Gregory, as we take a stroll around the Gratz Park neighborhood. We’ll focus on the effects of winter weather on tree health, discuss the impacts of climate change on hardiness ratings and winter dormancy, and the way humans can impact trees throughout the winter. We’ll also highlight some features of winter interest along the way. Please meet in Gratz Park at the Carnegie Center. Walk will begin promptly at 2pm.
